A native of Limerick, Liz and her family swapped urban for rural life nearly a decade ago, settling in Carron, the oasis of the Burren.
A trained horticulturist, Liz pushes the boat out by introducing more unusual vegetables and potted herbs to EFM. Her colourful stall also includes duck and hen eggs, chutneys and her famous rosemary and wild garlic rub, the perfect complement for roast lamb and other meat dishes.
You can also buy hazel obelisks, created by Liz’s husband Alan – perfect for showcasing sweet peas. Liz and Alan have embraced the ‘good life’ by keeping pigs, chickens, ducks and geese on their one acre holding.
